On the momentous occasion of Foundation Day 2024 of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), I extend my heartfelt greetings to each one of you. From its humble beginnings in 1963, KVS has grown into an inspiring institution of excellence in school education. This remarkable journey continues to evolve, driven by an unwavering spirit of innovation and progress.

The teachers build the roadmap for the success of the Vidyalaya. They readily adapt themselves to the challenges of a constantly changing educational scenario and keep updating themselves with the best and innovative practices. They are the one who guide, motivate and inspire children to innovate, create and aspire to accomplish their dreams. Teachers’ role in envisioning the objectives of NEP 2020 is indispensible. We look forward for the comprehensive implementation of all the aspects of NEP 2020 for the all round development of the students of Kendriya Vidyalayas under the aegis of KVS Guwahati Region. “You must be the change you wish to see in the world”. Each day we face different situations of life and this give us enough experience to bring a change in the life of our students. It is the Parents and Teachers in general, who can change the mind set of students. Our students are the future leaders of the nation. They need inspiration and motivation to proceed a life of happiness and prosperity. The agility of the students must be understood in true sense unless and until we capture the students needs and aspiration, we cannot gauge what they aspire from us. So, the need of the hour is to bring a change in the life of students by encouraging them as well as guiding them to become a good human being. Students should learn to developed the sense of felling, shoulder the responsibility of his own duties, be compassionate, nurturing a good attitude and inculcating moral values and leadership quality. In this context, the role of teachers is extraordinarily remarkable. Unless and until a teacher thinks that he/she should develop his /her students in the right path, we cannot hope for a development of a good citizen. It is from the store house of the school, the future leaders are born. So, in this context, I take the opportunity to tell the parents of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Golaghat to have faith in the present educational system and extend cooperation and good wishes for the development of this Vidyalaya. They must play a big role to encourage their words to develop a civic sense and to develop a sense of belongingness for the Vidyalaya. In this short span of life, we can do wonders.
